What sight fits a Bear Legit Maxx Picatinny In-Line rail?
Use a Picatinny-base sight. The Legit Maxx mounts the sight on a Picatinny In-Line rail, so a Mathews Bridge-Lock dovetail bar will not clamp to it. Pick a sight with a Picatinny base, or add a Picatinny adapter to a dovetail sight.
Bow sight mount
Picatinny sight rail (MIL-STD-1913), the Hoyt In-Line family
Sight version to order
A sight with a Picatinny base, or a Picatinny adapter for your dovetail sight
The Bear Legit Maxx sight mount is Picatinny In-Line, which sets what version you order.
The two ends
| Bow sight mount | Picatinny sight rail (MIL-STD-1913), the Hoyt In-Line family |
|---|---|
| Sight version to order | A sight with a Picatinny base, or a Picatinny adapter for your dovetail sight |
| Wrong-version risk | a mismatched mount bar will not seat in the riser or rail |
| Rest is separate | the rest mount on this bow is the Integrate dovetail, a different question |
The Bear Legit Maxx sight mount is a Picatinny In-Line interface, so the fit is set by the mounting bar you order rather than the sight head.
Many sight makers ship a Picatinny version for this rail, and Garmin ships the Xero A1i Pro in a Hoyt In-Line Picatinny mount with a standard-mount adapter in the box. A Bridge-Lock dovetail is a different interface and needs a base swap here.
