Berger hole versus Integrate MX rest mounting
The Berger hole is the long-standing single-screw rest mount, while Integrate MX is a newer dovetail interface that holds a rest more solidly without a launcher screw.
The Berger hole
The Berger hole is the threaded arrow-rest hole in the riser, just above the shelf. A traditional rest bolts to it with a single fixing screw, and this has been the standard rest mount across brands for a long time.
Because almost every riser has a Berger hole, a Berger-mount rest fits the widest range of bows. The trade-off is that a single screw allows some possibility of the rest shifting if it is not clamped down well.
Integrate MX
Integrate MX is a dovetail rest interface introduced by PSE. Instead of hanging on one screw through the Berger hole, the rest locates into a dovetail machined into the riser, which ties it to the riser more rigidly and repeatably.
Several brands make Integrate MX rests, including Hamskea and QAD, so the interface is not limited to one rest maker. It has been adopted across risers from Mathews, PSE and Bowtech that carry the interface.
Which rests fit which
A Berger-hole rest fits any riser with a Berger hole, which is most of them. An Integrate MX rest needs a riser that has the Integrate MX dovetail, or an adapter that provides it.
So the deciding factor is the riser. If your bow has the Integrate MX interface you can use either an Integrate MX rest for the most solid mount or a Berger-hole rest, whereas a bow without the interface is limited to Berger-hole rests unless adapted.

Choosing between them
If your riser has Integrate MX and you want the most rigid, repeatable rest mount, an Integrate MX rest makes sense. If you want the broadest compatibility or are moving the rest between bows, a Berger-hole rest is the safe default.
