The Berger hole is a single 5/16"-24 tapped hole on the riser shelf. It is the mount every rest fit before the Integrate dovetail arrived, and it is still on every bow, so a Berger-hole rest is the safe default when you are unsure what your riser is machined for.

The one drawback the Integrate system was built to solve is that a Berger bolt lets the rest rotate as you torque it, so it needs re-leveling. If your bow has an Integrate dovetail you can still bolt a rest to the Berger hole; the reverse needs the QAD Integrate Berger Mount Adapter.
